The Review feature is integrated with a mapping function that enables you to view the geographic dispersion of incidents. Incident symbols are superimposed on a map to indicate incident location and clustering.
Viewing a map you can quickly see any geographic commonalities in incident data. For example, the incident map makes it clear if a particular facility or geography is experiencing an unusually high number of incidents.
An additional feature of the Incident Map view is the ability to generate a list of incidents by location. After you generate this list you can select an incident in the list to view details about the incident.
To view an incident map:
A hierarchical list of locations opens in the middle pane. A map of the world opens in the right pane.
Click Show Selected.
Incidents associated with the location are superimposed on a map of the location in the map pane.
The Incidents Floor Plan window opens.
In the Incidents Floor Plan window select a floor code to display a floor plan of the incident location.
The Incident Floor Plans window opens with the incident room location highlighted in yellow.
To view incident information by selected location:
A list of incidents associated with the selected locations is displayed in the right pane.
