In the Move Management application, a trial drawing is a copy of an existing ARCHIBUS floor plan drawing within a move trial. The move trial drawing displays only the polylines from the original drawing. You can create trial drawings using the ARCHIBUS Smart Client Extensions for AutoCAD.
You can use move trials to help you plan group moves. If you are moving employees to one location, you can set up a trial that contains one trial drawing. If you are moving employees to multiple locations, you can set up multiple drawings within a trial.
After creating the trial drawings, you place the employees from your group move project in the trial drawing. If you want, you can create multiple trials and then compare the results. When you have created a trial drawing that suits your needs, you can update the move locations in the group move project based on the move trial locations in the trial drawing.
