Use the Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning tab to add the number of units for each type of refrigeration or air-conditioning equipment for which you want to calculate emissions. The application uses the refrigeration factors entered for this type of equipment using the protocol identified by the Refrigeration / Air-Conditioning Factors Version entered on the Building Footprint Details tab.
To add refrigerant and air-conditioning source data:
Refrigerant / Air-Conditioning Type: Enter the type of refrigeration or air-conditioning equipment for which you want to calculate emissions. The list includes all refrigeration and air-conditioning types that your Business Process Owner entered factors for using the Refrigeration Factors task.
Type of Refrigerant: Select the type of refrigerant or gas.
Number of Units: Enter the number of units of this type for which you want to calculate emissions.
The application calculates greenhouse gas emissions for this source, and displays the emissions in the upper Footprints panel.
