Move Management

Move Coordinator Tasks (Overview)

Your first task as a move coordinator is to review move requests. While reviewing a request, you may add additional data or move actions. You have the option to auto-approve the request, so that no further approval is required.

Alternatively, after reviewing the request, you can route the move for approval to one or more approving managers.

After all the approving managers that you have assigned have approved the move, you can review and edit the move again. When you are satisfied with the move details, you can issue the move. While issuing the move, you have the opportunity to add additional actions. When you issue the move, you set the move in motion. At this point, all the employees, craftspersons, and additional contractors who have a role in the move begin to complete their tasks.

You can monitor the progress of a move at any time by examining the current moves. After all the actions of a move have been completed, you confirm that the move is complete.

For a general introduction to the Move Management application, see the Move Management (Overview) topic.
