An amenity is a feature of the overall property or building that is usually of interest to tenants or landlords, as well as to brokers representing the property. Fitness centers, ISDN lines, sprinkler systems, and day care centers are all examples of property or building amenity types.
When you define amenity types, lease administrators can then use the Add Amenities tasks to add these amenities to properties or buildings. They can then generate reports to review the amenities added for a property, building, or lease, enabling them to track these amenities by location, and to asses amenities that need to be maintained or renovated.
To define amenity types:
The Property Amenities Types screen appears.
