Before you can use any of the Extension for Revit commands, you must enable the ARCHIBUS Model Properties command (shown as the ARCHIBUS/Properties command on the Ribbon.)
Note: You must be assigned to an administrative role to run the Model-Level Properties command.
To enable the Properties command:
When you run the ARCHIBUS/Properties Command, the Revit model view is added to the ARCHIBUS database. You do not use the Drawing List to add new Revit building model files, but you can view these Revit files from the Drawing List and in the Drawing Name field on the Drawing Properties dialog. If the Smart Client is already running when you add a new Revit model to the database, you can see the drawing in the Drawing List by clicking the Refresh button
ARCHIBUS uses the Model and Level Name to name the Revit file, for example, YourRevitModelName-01. Revit models encompass a series of levels which correspond to floors. Floors in the Drawing List are registered to Revit Rvt Files plus their level (for example, hq.rvt|Level 17). AutoCAD typically uses one drawing per floor, or on large drawings, one drawing per quadrant or wing of a floor.
To add the Revit model to the ARCHIBUS Project Database:
The Model-Level Properties dialog appears.
