drawing-driven data

An asset's information, such as area information, that is always generated from a drawing. Entity handle, drawing layer, drawing name, and area and length information is drawing-driven data because it reports on the location or size of an asset symbol. The ARCHIBUS Smart Client Extension for AutoCAD or the DWG Editor update the corresponding record in an asset table with an asset symbol's drawing-driven data. See also drawing-driven field.
