Telecom Console: Filter Data

Use the filter at the top of the Telecom Console to select data from the telecom inventory. Generally you will work with one building and one floor at a time. You can narrow your focus to specific asset types, or specific assets, after you select the building and floor.

The sample procedure below illustrates how to use the main filter:

1. Enter the building code in the Building Code field.

   Alternately, click the Select Value button, then select the building code from the list of codes in the database.

2. Enter the floor code in the Floor Code field.

   Alternately, click the Select Value button, then select the floor code from the list of codes in the database.

3. Click Show in the console's upper right corner.

   The floor's equipment list opens in the console's left panel, and a plan for the building and floor you selected opens in the right panel.

Note: Use other fields in the filter, as needed, to narrow your search. To search a list of assets in the left panel, use the Smart Search fields at the top of the list.
