Installing ARCHIBUS Help Systems Locally (Jetty)

The ARCHIBUS help systems are not automatically installed locally ; the default behavior is to access the online help systems from the ARCHIBUS web site. If you instead wish to install the online help locally, follow the below instructions.

1. On the ARCHIBUS DVD, locate \war\archibus_help.war.
2. Expand the archibus_help.war.
   • The default Web Central deployment folder is C:\users\Public. Copy the archibus_help.war file into the deployment folder, next to the \archibus folder.
   • Rename archibus_help.war to archibus_help.zip.
   • Stop the Jetty service (administration privileges are required).
   • Delete the existing archibus_help folder.
   • Expand archibus_help.zip into \archibus_help, preserving all subfolders.

3. Examine the expansion. The expansion process has created a series of folders:
   • \system -- for System Management Help, which is always in English.
   • \user_xx – where "xx" represents the language, such as \user_en for English and \user_de for Gernan.

4. Access the local help.

   • Start Jetty service.
