Overworked maintenance managers who do not have the benefit of automated work order generation, may sometimes miss generating preventive maintenance work orders on time, with the result that work is missed. Supervisors and craftspersons sometimes cannot complete preventive maintenance on time, with the result that work is overdue. With ARCHIBUS V.24.1, maintenance managers can identify and isolate these missed work conditions and rectify them by generating new preventive maintenance work orders for the near future. They can use specific filters in the PM Planner to find missed and overdue work, and schedule a single one-time work order in the PM Planner.
To effectively utilize the new capabilities implemented to manage missed and overdue preventive maintenance work, it is important to understand the definitions of Missed PM and Overdue PM in an ARCHIBUS context. These definitions are:
Overdue PM: A PM Schedule in which a full interval has passed since the last completed PM work order, where Date of Last PM + Interval > Current Date
The PM Planner has new controls for managing missed and overdue work.
Control | Function |
---|---|
Status Filter |
