Once you publish your models as enterprise graphics, you can complete your room information using Web Central. You can work on data from any level or BIM model, and you can also switch between information from Revit and from AutoCAD at will.
To do so:
- Space Planning & Management / Space Inventory & Performance / Room Inventory / Assign Categories and Types to Rooms
- Space Planning & Management / Space Inventory & Performance / Room Inventory / Assign Room Standards to Rooms
- Space Planning & Management / Space Inventory & Performance / Room Inventory / Assign Divisions and Departments to Rooms
In particular:
- If a room represents a Vertical Penetration, such as a chase or an area open to below, label that room with a “VERT” Room Category.
- If a room represents a Service Area, such as a lobby or mechanical closet, label that room with a “SERV” Room Category.
Refer to the help topics located in this portion of the help system's Table of Contents: Space Planning & Management / Space Inventory and Performance / CAD Users
