Change the Names of the Default Cost Categories for Costs Amortized under FASB 842

The names of the cost categories are controlled by application parameters. You can change the names of the cost categories to be consistent with your naming convention.

1. Load System Administration / ARCHIBUS System Administration / ARCHIBUS Administrator - Application Configuration / Configure Application Parameters (ab-activity-params-edit.axvw)
2. Select the AbRPLMLeaseAdministration application.
3. Select one of these parameters:
   • CostCategory_FASB842BaseRent
   • CostCategory_FASB842LeaseInitDirect
   • CostCategory_FASB842LeaseImprov
   • CostCategory_FASB842OtherAmort
4. Edit the Parameter Value field to reflect the name of your cost categories.
5. Save your change.
6. Select the Reload All Parameters button.
