Project types define the types of projects that can be created. For example, you might define project types such as New Construction, Property Acquisition, or Renovation. You select a project type when you are creating a project request. Since several ARCHIBUS applications work with projects, application views use the Project Type field to filter the project to just the type appropriate for each particular view.
