A project for tracking and organizing the individual tasks of following a hazardous material issue through from initial report to final inspection. Hazardous material projects group together communication logs, service requests, action items, and assessment items for all the phases of a hazardous material issue (initial report, inspection, cost estimate, verification, and so on). A hazardous material project must be associated with one specific hazardous substance that will be assessed.
Hazardous material projects, condition assessment projects, and environmental sustainability projects are stored in the Activity Projects table, which is also used by other ARCHIBUS applications. The Project Type field enables each application's views to filter projects according to the appropriate data.
