When you create a requirement, by default, its status is set to Active, but you can change the status to On Hold, Completed, Completed - Verified, or Closed, as these states occur for the requirement.
You can search for requirements by their status to facilitate locating the specific requirements you want to manage. Some views are restricted to show only requirements having a specific status. For example, the Permits and Licenses report shows only permits and licenses that have a Requirement Status of Active.
