initial lease liability

The Initial Lease Liability is the amount recognized at the commencement of the lease as the liability the organization assumes with the lease. It is equal to the present value of all lease payments.

The Lease Classification Wizard calculates initial lease liability to be the present value of the lease payments and the option costs; that is, the projected cost of all BASE RENT% Costs for the lease totaled over the entire term of the lease. It is equal to the sum of all Net Rent (Cash Payment) fields for the lease.

This value is stored in the ls.initial_lease_liability field.
