ARCHIBUS Extension for Microsoft Exchange

This extension enables you to integrate Microsoft Exchange Servers with ARCHIBUS applications that use calendars, such as ARCHIBUS Reservations, ARCHIBUS Preventive Maintenance, and ARCHIBUS On Demand Work.

With this extension, you keep all of your schedules, reminders, and cancellations in one system: Microsoft Exchange.

The Extension for Microsoft Exchange enables:

• Changes and cancellations made in Exchange Calendar flow directly to ARCHIBUS, and vice versa. For instance, a change of a meeting time in Outlook, flows directly to the corresponding ARCHIBUS reservation.
• Coordination. ARCHIBUS applications can use Exchange's indications of "free/busy" time when presenting calendars, such as the calendars for craftsperson scheduling.
• Remote access. Remote users stay in sync with meeting invitations, room reservations, invitations, and changes.

When you use this extension, you will not notice any changes in ARCHIBUS forms; they appear the same regardless of whether or not you are integrating with Exchange.
