To track changes to your lease agreement, you can record amendments. You can also add a lease document for the amendment.
Note: The Amendments tab is available only from the Lease Administration Add/Edit Wizard task; it is not available from the Portfolio Administration's Add/Edit Wizard task.
You can enter amendments using the Amendments panel accessed from either the Lease Administration/Add/Edit Details Wizard (Amendments tab), or from the Lease Administration/Add/Edit Form - Complete task. Before entering amendments you first select the lease.

To enter amendments:
The Add Amendment form appears.
Note: You can also access the Add Amendment form from the Lease Portfolio Console: after selecting a lease, click the Amendments tab and then click Add New.
Description-- Select or enter a description of the change.
Date Requested- Date the change was requested.
Date Effective --Date the amendment is effective.
Exercised by--The name of the user who exercised the option. Click the Select Value button next to the Exercised by field to select the name of the user entered in the Employees table.
Comments--Any details for the amendment you want to record.
The system automatically creates the following values:
Lease Amendment ID: A unique identifier for the amendment.
