Rooms can be areas enclosed by walls, or partitioned areas such as workstations. Rooms can house personnel, storage areas, reception areas, computer rooms, file rooms, libraries, and so forth.
By assigning room categories and room types to rooms, you can classify rooms as occupiable and non-occupiable.
Although not considered rooms that personnel can occupy, vertical penetrations and service areas are stored in the Rooms table. Their room category and room type distinguish them as vertical penetrations and service areas.
