A database field that holds a graphic file. You can see the content of graphic fields in reports. For example, the Employees report includes a Employee Photo button that opens a window showing the photo.
Graphic fields can also hold documents, such as .DOC, PDF, XLS, and HTM files. For example, you can complete a graphic field with the file name of lease agreement Word document file.
When you use graphic fields to associate documents with records, the documents cannot be managed with the Archibusdocument management system. The documents must be referenced by document fields for this type of management.
