event status

A description of where the event is in its lifecycle. Tracking event status is optional, but is needed to use certain features, such as the highlighting feature in certain reports that identify missed and overdue events. Also, email notification templates can include triggering conditions that depend on accurate event status.

Examples of typical event statuses are:

Status Description
Scheduled The event has a Date Start and a responsible person. When events are generated, or when you manually enter an event, by default, its status is set to Scheduled, but you can change this to Planned if you intend to do the work, but do not want to initially schedule the event for a specific date.
Canceled The event has been cancelled.
In Progress The event has begun, but is not yet completed.
On Hold The event has been placed on hold before it began.
Stopped The event began but was stopped before completion.
Completed The event has completed.
Completed and Verified
  • The event was completed and then its completion was verified.
  • Closed The event has been closed.
