In the Reservations application, you can define fixed resources for each room arrangement. A fixed resource is any resource that will always be available with a room arrangement. For example, if a room has a built- in projector, then you can define this projector as a fixed resource for the room's room arrangements. Then, when you are searching for rooms, you can search for rooms that have a projector and this room will show up.

Fixed resources are also referred to as "amenities." The Reservations Calendar Console, Workplace, and the Workplace Services Portal mobile app include options for searching for rooms by amenities.

In contrast to fixed resources, you can create resource reservations for resources that will temporarily be used for specific room reservations. You can create resource reservations for:

• unique resources
• limited resources
• unlimited resources
