redline

Mobile app users and Web Central users can add redlines to drawings to make notes about an area on the floor. For example, redlines might show a change that needs to be made to the drawing, or can clarify the location of an issue, such as an area needing maintenance work.

Once you redline a drawing in Web Central or mobile, other users can access it as a document. For example, as a service desk requestor, you might add redlines to a CAD drawing that show a problem location. Other users approving or servicing this request can then view your comments using the service request's Document field.

Beginning with Archibus V23.2, all Web Central views use the HTML drawing control. These views might include redlining as part of their markup tools.

You might have custom views that use the older Flash drawing control, which provide a toolbox of arrows, text boxes, lines, and so on. Whereas the HTML Drawing Control supports redlines on images and drawings, views that use the Flash drawing control support redlining drawings but not images.
