The ARCHIBUS Environmental Health & Safety application is organized into a set of role-based tasks designed for the various roles within your organization. With roles and security established by a business process owner, users will log into ARCHIBUS and access just those tasks appropriate for their roles and security settings.
The safety officer can access all safety related data and functions. Individual employees can access only the safety data related to their employee name. This allows an employee to review required training programs, personal protective equipment assigned to them, work restrictions placed on them, etc.
If an accident occurs, the safety officer can create an incident describing what happened, why and future corrective actions required. If an employee requires post-incident medical treatment or monitoring these actions can also be tracked.
