The EH&S application provides a comprehensive solution to the problem of efficiently managing all aspects of an enterprise-wide safety program. The application supports the tracking of safety-related incidents, training programs, employee medical monitoring, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE ).
The corporate safety officer is the main user of the EH&Sapplication. Safety officers will use the application to schedule and assign training, manage the delivery and use of PPE, assign work restrictions and more. If a safety-related incident occurs, the application can be used to associate incidents with locations, equipment, and employees. Training and medical monitoring can be easily linked to the incidents that created the need. Incident witnesses statements, lost work days and short- and long-term corrective actions can also be documented.
As an added plus, role-based system security allows the safety officer to restrict access to most information while also providing employees with access to their personal safety-related information. This encourages employees to take responsibility for various aspects of their safety program, including training, PPE Types renewal and routine medical monitoring.
