Review Recent Incidents

It is often convenient to group incidents by timeframe and review the details surrounding each incident. Doing so can help the safety manager discern trends in incident occurrence.

The Recent Incident feature allows you to search for incidents that have occurred within a fixed timeframe. By default that timeframe is the preceding 90 days. (This value is configurable using an Application Parameter.)

To review recent incidents:

1. In the Process Navigator, click EH&S/ Review / Incidents / Recent Incidents.
2. Click Show in the Filter pane to view a date-ordered list of incidents that have occurred in the past 90 days.

   A list of incidents is displayed in the bottom pane.

3. (Optional) Use the Filter pane to refine you search by entering some or all of the following search criteria:
   • Incident Type
   • Building Code
   • Property Code
   • Floor Code

4. Click Show in the Filter pane to view a list of all incidents that have occurred within the past 90 days and that meet your search criteria.

   The following data is provided for each incident in the list...

   • Incident Code
   • Incident Type
   • Incident Date
   • Affected Employee
   • Non-Employee Contact Code
   • Property Code
   • Building Code
   • Floor Code
   • Room Code
   • Equipment Code
   • Injury Category Code

View Individual Incident Details

After you have generated an incident list, you can drill down into an incident to view additional information about the incident.

To view the details associated with a specific incident:

1. View recent incidents.
2. In the list select an incident to view.

   The Incident Details window opens providing additional information about the incident.

   The following incident detail information is provided:

   Incident Code

   Incident Date

   Incident Time

   Incident Type

   Affected Employee

   Responsible Manager

   Reported By

   Recorded By

   Safety Officer

   Short Term Corrective Action

   Short Term Corrective Action Description

   Long Term Corrective Action
