Review Pending Medical Monitoring

It is important to keep employee medical monitoring up-to-date, both for employee safety and to meet any regulatory requirements. You can quickly assess your compliance with internal and external medical monitoring assignments using the Review function.

By viewing a color-coded report you can quickly identify any employee whose medical monitoring is past deadline. You can also see pending medical monitoring events due to occur within a pre-defined timeframe, such as the next 15 days.

To review pending medical monitoring:

1. In the Process Navigator, click EH&S/ Review / Medical Monitoring / Pending Medical Monitoring.

   A color-coded table of Pending Medical Monitoring information is displayed in the right pane. Red indicates a missed deadline. Yellow indicates a pending deadline.

   The following pending medical monitoring information is provided...

   • Employee Name
   • Medical Monitoring Code
   • Medical Monitoring Type
   • Monitoring Date
   • Medical Monitoring Comments
   • Related Incident Code
   • Incident Type
   • Date of Incident
2. Further refine your search using the Filter pane to enter search criteria.
   Specify some or all of the following...

   • Medical Monitoring Code
   • Medical Monitoring Type
   • Employee Name
   • Related Incident Code

3. Click Show in the Filter pane to view the results of your refined search.

   Pending Medical Monitoring information related to your search criteria is displayed in the bottom pane.

Note: The value that determines yellow (days until deadline) list items is configurable. This value is set in EH&S Background Data using an application parameter. The default value is 15 days.
