You can enter a variety of data about the safety-related training opportunities offered by your organization. These training opportunities can be optional or mandatory. The following training-related items can be defined in background data.

This item is where you provide details about a specific training class. Information can include: Program Name and Code, Prerequisites, Detailed Description and information about related substances, PPE and equipment standards. |
To define training chemicals or substances:
Previously defined chemicals and substances are listed in the middle pane.
A typical chemical name might be PCBS.
To define training categories:
Previously defined categories are listed in the middle pane.
A typical Training Category Code might be General Safety, Lab Safety, OSHA, etc.
Previously defined types are listed in the middle pane.
A typical Training Type Code might be initial, Project-Specific, Refresher, OSHA, etc.
Previously defined programs are listed in the middle pane.
A typical Training Program Code might be General Safety, Lab Safety, OSHA, etc.
Associate the training program with Training Type Code by using the picker to select a Type Code from the list.
If the NotifyTraining parameter is set to YES in Application Parameter background data, the employee will be sent an email when he is scheduled for a training program.
