If you are a system administrator, then you are responsible for tasks such as software installation, updating applications, and configuring the security service.

While the system administrator works on system-wide issues, the ARCHIBUS administrator focuses on user-specific issues such as setting up users and assigning processes, roles, and tasks to users.

  understanding your role

If you are an ARCHIBUS Administrator, then you are the person at your company who is in charge of the ARCHIBUS system; you set up ARCHIBUS to meet the needs of your site and you configure ARCHIBUS for all users.

You perform such tasks as configuring the entries of the Process Navigator, configuring the presentation of data, assigning tasks to users, and configuring application-level security.
