Export Space Requirement Items

When you need to share requirements with others, you can export to Word, Excel, or use the ARCHIBUS data transfer features.

A space planner might develop a forecast but need to ask managers for their forecasts and then merge these forecasts with their own. In this case, the space manager can use the data transfer features to output their requirements, merge their results with managerial requirements, and then import everything back in.

If you need a report on space requirements, you can export the requirements to Word and Excel.

To export space requirement items:

1. Run the Define Space Requirements task.
2. Select the space requirement whose space requirement items you wish to export.
3. The system moves you to the Edit Requirement tab, which lists all the space requirement items for this space requirement.
   
   
4. Select the space requirement items you wish to export by clicking their check boxes. To select all space requirement items at once, choose the selection box at the top of the grid.
5. Use the export icon to select the format to which you want to export the space requirement items:
   
   

6. The system exports the selected records to the specified format and presents a message when it has completed the task.
