Regulation Count by... Reports

You can generate Regulation Count by... reports that include charts and cross-tables that show regulation counts by two parameters. The reports include a chart and a table to help you evaluate the number of regulations you have by the reports parameters.

The reports include comprehensive filters that enable you to restrict data using a variety of criteria. For example, you can use the Location field to show only certain locations, such as geo-regions, countries or states. Or, you can restrict the report to show only particular regulation or compliance program categories and types. In some cases, this might generate a report that includes a more manageable number of regulations to evaluate.

These reports include bar charts that are color coded into segments. The legend for the highlighting is included at the bottom of the chart. When you mouse over a segment, you can see a summary of its details. The charts enable you to drill-down to see details for the records contributing to the totals; by clicking on a segment of a bar, you can see the regulations, compliance programs, and requirements contributing to the count for that segment of the bar.

By Regulation Rank and Category

This reports shows regulation counts by regulation rank and regulation category.

This report has two tabs:

Chart: Shows a horizontal bar chart of regulation rank by regulation count. The bar chart is color-coded to show the regulation category for that segment of the count. Click on a segment to see the regulations, compliance programs, and requirements contributing to the total for that segment of the bar. The color coding enables you to evaluate the number of regulations for each regulation category and regulation rank. For example, you can evaluate how many high priority regulations you have for each regulation category.
Cross-Table: Presents a table showing regulation and program totals by regulation rank and category.

By Location and Regulation Rank

This report shows regulation count by location and regulation rank.

The report includes a Group By field to select the location type by which you want to group the data. If you select a location from the Filter, the Group by field breaks down the location using the Group By field. For example, if you select a Region using the Location field, and then select State for the Group By, the report shows the regulations count for each state in the Region for which you have compliance programs. If you do not select a Location from the Filter , the report shows data for all regulations using the Group By field you select. For example, if you select Country, the reports shows regulation counts for all countries for which you have compliance programs.
