project

A project defines a specific goal that you want to accomplish, such as to repair the roof, purchase land, replace an elevator, or remove hazardous material removal. The steps of managing projects are outlined in work packages and action items, and can be entered when the project is defined or as it progresses and you realize that these tasks are required.

Several ARCHIBUS applications work with projects, and the Project Type field of the Activity Projects table enables each application's views to filter projects appropriately. If you manage space occupancy with teams, you can associate projects with teams.

If you have a license for the Project Management application, you can manage a project created in another ARCHIBUS application through all its various phases (request, approve, plan, procure, execute, analyze) and connect it with a capital program.
