Archibus domain

A grouping that addresses the problems of a certain area of facilities management by dividing the issues into a series of goals or applications, and providing tasks to work through these goals. Archibus domains address such facility management issues as inventorying space, inventorying furniture and equipment, managing environmental issues and risk, and managing building operations.

The Navigator presents the Archibus domains and their component applications, which in turn house processes and tasks.

In the Archibus SaaS offering, applications -- and in some cases entire domains -- are packaged as modules.
