violation (Compliance)

In the Compliance application, you can document situations in which:

• your facility is not in compliance with a regulation
• a contracted vendor is not in compliance with the terms of the contract. This might lead to non-compliance with a regulation.

You can track any fees or penalties incurred as a result of the violation as a cost in the Contract Costs (compliance_contract_cost) table, and then run reports that summarize these costs.

You can associate these violations with all levels of the regulation hierarchy:

• regulation
• compliance program / contract
• requirement / contract term
• compliance location
