Overview of Tasks for Editing Leases and Portfolio Items

The Lease Administration application and Leases module include several tasks for adding and editing data for your leases. These tasks also enable you to add information for your geographical locations (Country, Region, State, City, or Site), and your portfolio items -- your buildings, structures and land.

Using any of these methods, you can select a template that you have defined to enter lease data. The procedures for entering lease data include this optional step of using a template.

The following table describes the tasks for developing lease and portfolio information:

Lease Portfolio Console

Manage all aspects of your leases using a tabbed interface and an expandable filter. The filter includes predefined criteria that help you locate the leases most needing your attention.

Export and import leases, such as importing leases from an Excel file. The import/export features are not available with the other tasks.

Access the Lease Classification Wizard (if you have a license for the Archibus Extension for Lease Accounting)

Complete lease details: contacts, recurring costs, clauses, options, amendments, suites and documents.

Communication logs

Lease cost profiles (lease indexing, CAM, and chargeback) from the Recurring Costs tab.

Enter comprehensive lease information using a form that presents lease data in panes. With this task, you do not have the wizard to guide you, but working from one form can be a quick way to enter comprehensive lease data.
