Define Compliance Questionnaires

Develop a questionnaire and its assigned questions using these tasks:

Both of these tasks present questionnaires for contracts and compliance programs. The view is offered in two locations for your convenience.

Use Define Compliance Questionnaires to:

• define and edit a questionnaire profile
• start a new questionnaire by copying an existing one
• add a header
• edit and define questions of different question types
• define answers
• add a follow-up action or question based on the user's response
• preview and test the questionnaire that the user will receive
• search for existing questions so that you might possibly reuse them
• export a questionnaire to PDF, DOC, or, XLS
• assign the questionnaire to a contract term or requirement

As you define your questionnaires, examine the sample questionnaires in the HQ project. The samples are based on real-life surveys and include all types of questions, as well as using headers to organize the information.

Once you define the questionnaire, you assign it to a contract term or compliance program and specify the Responsible Person. You then define an event for using the survey and generate events to assign the survey as a task to the Responsible Person. See Assigning Questionnaires to Field Inspectors.

Using the Define Compliance Questionnaires Console

You can search for a questionnaire using the filter and select it from the Select Questionnaires tree on the left. Once you select it, its assigned questions (and headers, which are stored as questions) appear in the Question List.

Once you select a question, the Question Display Options panes and Question Details (or Header Display Options and Details panes) open on the right of the console. Depending on the type of question and its complexity, the panels will display a variety of options. For information, see Defining a Question.
